Basque chicken
A delicious recipe for cooking chicken with southern flavors. It can be served with rice
INGREDIENTS: 6 PERS.
- 1 Chicken
- 1kg Tomatoes
- 700g Peppers (green and red)
- 3 Onions
- 1 glass White wine
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 Bouquet garni
- Olive oil
- Salt pepper
Getting the recipe ready:
Step 1
- Heat 4 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Brown the chopped onions, the pressed garlic, and the peppers cut into strips. Let cook for 5 minutes.
Step 2
- Wash, peel and cut the tomatoes into pieces, add them to the casserole, salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Step 3
- In a sauté pan, brown the salted and peppery chicken pieces in olive oil. add them to the vegetables, cover, add the bouquet garni and the white wine and cook the basquaise chicken for 35 minutes.
